Shaheen Khokhar, dedicated President of the Pakistani American Skilled Women Organization since 2021, brings a wealth of experience as a former school teacher at PS 187. With a passion for education and empowerment, she has seamlessly transitioned her skills to lead our organization, fostering a supportive community for Pakistani American women to thrive personally and professionally. Shaheen’s commitment to inclusivity and her background in education make her a driving force behind our mission to empower skilled women in the community.
Advisor
Salman Zafar is Living in New York since 1980 immigrated from Lahore Pakistan. Worked with Habib Bank for few years, worked as restaurant manager at TGIF restaurant in Manhattan for 17 years, worked at Warwick hotel for 5 years as manager in Manhattan. Currently Healthcare professional, community activist, president Pakistan People’s Party Human Rights Wing USA, helping communities while volunteering, support community needs as needed. Volunteer with other community organizations such as Indian, Bengali, Nepalese, Muslim, Hispanic communities also work closely with Mosques across New York. Provides resources to organizations.

Dr. Sadia Shehnaz, DPT, serves as the Health Director of the Pakistani American Skilled Women Organization (PASWO), Pakistan chapter, a non-profit organization headquartered in New York. With a profound commitment to serving the community, Dr. Shehnaz oversees and spearheads various initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare accessibility and improving the well-being of individuals across Pakistan.
Driven by a passion for humanitarianism, Dr. Shehnaz is actively engaged in organizing and facilitating free medical camps, offering rehabilitative services, and providing clinical support to underserved populations. Her dedication to serving those in need has earned her widespread recognition, with numerous awards bestowed upon her by both local and multinational non-profit organizations.
With her expertise in physical therapy and a deep-rooted sense of empathy, Dr. Shehnaz exemplifies the ethos of compassionate healthcare delivery. Through her leadership and tireless efforts, she continues to make significant strides in addressing healthcare disparities and uplifting communities throughout Pakistan.
